Ok now I believe I have done everything about this problem, can't even explain to you how many times I have checked the soldering. Soldered even pins 9 and 15. The 2nd LED WILL NOT TURN ON NOR WILL THE EXTERNAL PANEL. Please help I can't tell you how pissed I am right now and I think my patiene is wearing thin. Thanks for the help.

read the sticky for those who are wondering. Also is this grounds for return because it really isn't worth it for me to keep it, I should have spent 60$ on a v1.0 mobo instead of a mod that they claim to say works on a v1.6 but somehow didn't update with the 3.3v issue. Please respond thank you.

Buddy of mine had the same exact problem because to be honest his soldering sucked. After he gave up, he handed it off to have a Pro do it. Guess what? It works perfectly now.

maybe if you fitted the mod correctly in the first place you wouldnt have to make any posts here ?
tens of thousands have fitted to a v1.6 - all except you so I guess the mod is faulty and doesnt work with the X3 huh ?

Don't post with install problems, or even complain the chip doesnt work without checking your soldering, re soldering, de soldering, re soldering, de soldering, I know a guy that did it 10 times and finally got it on the eleventh
Edit: man all mighty xecuter got to it, can't wait for the new bios!!
PS: try wire install man because that "isn't as decieving as a pinheader"

I am sorry for the way I posted but as you can see I lost alot of my patience, I did check the soldering and I did a good job using my 15w soldering god, Pin 15 is not getting 3.3v juice, is there a way to pull it from somewhere else besides pin 9?
I thought mabye pin 9 didnt have juice just checked, probally solder wasn't connected so good to the board

yup does the same.
both wires in 1 socket so brown and red together works fine.
