X3 on v1.6 box start stop start stop start blank screen

I have an X3 installed on a v1.6 box. When I tap the power button the box starts stops starts stops then starts and keeps running, but all I get is a blank screen. Also, the Blue light on the front panel will only stay lit while you are pressing the power button. I have checked all the solder connections and they look fine. The only odd thing I noticed during the install was that the instructions I had showed 4 wires being used for the LPC rebuild (LAD0, LAD1, LAD2 & LAD3), but the rebuild board that came with my X3 also connected pin 1 to pin 7 on the pin header. I soldered both ways (with and w/o connecting 1 & 7) but the box still does the same thing.

the rebuild board connects pin 15 and 9 not 1 and 7. Connecting these pins will just give you a better chance at getting your 3.3v power for the chip. You are getting frag unless you have a v1.6b. Make sure your dip switches are correct and if it is do your soldering points again

ok YES i am a noob at this.i have done my research however, im still a little lost. nothing seems to be recent, i.e. a few years old. i want to mod my 360, ive opened it up, i have Phillips-LiteOn DG-16D2S fw 74850C. i just need info on what to do now. ive searched this site and google and the stuff i find is a few years old and diff. tuts tell me diff. things to do.so if some one would plz just tell me what to follow so i can follow it. also my dash is 2.0.9199 idk if that makes a difference or not. thank you for your time -Tom

so if im understanding this i need a Xecuter CK3 Pro and a Xecuter CK3 Probe. or use a Xecuter LT Clip and LT Switch v2 and a probe correct? any other stuff that i need to buy?

Either:
Xecuter CK3 Pro and a Xecuter CK3 Probe
or
Xecuter LT Clip and LT Switch V2 (No probe needed)

I use the Xecuter CK3 Lite and have managed to flash every drive so far with it, although you will also need the probe for the 748
