X3 only boots to chip

Hey there.
Ive got x3 installed and ive also got x3cp. when i try to boot up my box it only boots up to the chip. ive tried holding down the button for it to go into normal xbox dash but it jst goes to the modded dash.

anyone got any suggestions?

Check your connections once again around the power switch board its possible when you did the CP change you did some damage. There is a bit of irony here..... all the posts of people trying to get their chip on and only boot to the MS dash.

Need more info.

How did you configure your hard drive?
Did you use a autoinstaller?
Did you replace the original default.xbe on the C: drive with the modded dash?

Thats what I'm thinking how was the dash installed manually or by some auto installer? Did you do any renaming of the sort on the dash board *.xbe's
?
