X3 Orange Light No Video

i have an x3 v1.6 xbox. i had the chip installed by a guy who has done 30+. with the chip disabled the xbox boots fine into ms dash, but with the chip enabled it gives no video and the green light turns orange.
pressing A does nothing and the DVD will not eject.
serial number 43905
PLEASE HELP!!

makes it kinda of hard when you can't search 'x3'
also i needed just the tiniest of help. instead i had to spend 4 hours plus reading a million forums. great system. maybe post a KNOWN issues stickey note detailing these v1.6b errors, with what chips. what we can do etc... and then you would have to put up with annoying noobs like me!!!!!

It would also be nice if people would stop posting in threads only to provide zero help. Flaming people doesn't help. The time you spend flaming newbies for not searching through hundreds of posts (not surprising that people don't want to do that) you could be spending with a simple answer to their question.

ABGX confusion...

When I check splitvid on newer games with abgx It says it cannot check add fix or whatnot because of unknown video partition... anyway to fix this?

EDIT: I fixed the problem by just doing the same thing like 3 times but exporting as txt so i could upload here..... so now it works but doesn't seem reliable... any ideas feel free to comment.

Yeah when it gives that message, just run the Check again and it should work.

I always make a point of running through the check twice....just to make sure it was done correctly.
