Okay, I've got a really crap ass problem on my hands. I was messing with the X3 Bios Settings, and was checking out the password protection section. Entered a password, and Applied it, then of course I cold booted the dame thing and entered my password only to encounter a problem that I instantly though might happen, A message saying "WRONG PASSWORD, TRY AGAIN" I tried entering the password over and over again, and even typing it in wrong because the controllers D-Pad seems to be sensitive, and the buttons stick (New Wireless Controller). So is there a way I can remedy this problem. I've tried Flashing the Bios over again, but that left me helpless. Settings still present, and I even tried The Evox Bios but nothing hapens. On startup I just get the Purple Evox Triangle, but nothing else, and the Original startup, then to MS Dashboard. I don't have any dashboards installed yet.

Can you boot up to X3 Config Live! by holding the white button?

he'll need 2 enter the password first

ok heres what u can try

1. Boot into Backup and Flash an X2 BIOS, or a Compatible 256k BIOS.

2. Get an EvoX Boot Disc and add the X3 EEPROM Erase XBE 2 the Disc, and add it to the EvoX menu

3. turn on the system buy opening the Tray, put in the EvoX Disc, and shut off the system

4. turn the system back on using the power button, and having Bank 1 selected, you may need 2 repeat this a few times 2 get it 2 boot the disc

5. Once it's booted you can now erase the X3 EEPROM

6. Turn off the System, boot to Backup rom, and flash the X3 BIOS on, then shut down and select 1MB BIOS 1+2+3+4(on on off off), then load your Dash's on there using X3 FTP

You might be puttin the right password in...if you put a password that was more than 8 characters it will only take the first 8 characters. So if you put a 10 charater password in try and just put the first 8...its a lot easier than reflashing with the X2 then running the x3erase.

Okay I feel like a dumb ass, which I should because Neon Rabbit told me to erase the eeprom, and of course if you need to find something you need for your XBox, then look no further than *xbins* "sorry people can't help you there".

Then Cold_Bug solves the problem. my password is 10 characters long, and X3 only manages through 8. I thank Neon Rabbit for putting it so bluntly, and Cold_Bug for helping out.
