X3 Problems

Ok have X3 installed on my box using an xadptr and X Rox my Box with this new 2913 Build i hope someone can help me out here

1) can't disabled the Mod chip the X-box just Frags
2) How do i go straight to playing game or watching DVD instead of it going to control panel first
3) my clock keeps reseting itself to 31/11/02 21:00 - dunno why
4) EvoX no longer works on the mod chip

1. Have you upgraded your HDD?
2. Did you remove/rename any of the files from the C:\ drive?
3. (Most obvious) Is the HDD locked?

You need to go into the X3CL panel and DISABLE boot to config live option. After doing this, whenever you want to get back to X3Cl, you will need to hold down the white button on bootup.

? Evox M8 BIOS or Evox dashboard?

Hey - you didn't happen to NOT follow the instructions for the X3 2913 BIOS, and run the install script did you ... the one with the "preparehdd" instruction that WIPES the HDD and gets it ready for a clean install? If thats the case, grab a copy of the SlayersAuto install disk. It will reload the Xbox default dash, as well as EvoX.

Nope its the origional HDD and didnt touch C:\and yep its locked

Nope i didnt I was running the EvoX M8 fine before installin the new 2913 build then it just stopped

Check and double check you D0 connection!
That's why mine FRAGs
(I'm too lazy to fix mine, plus I've got a virgin box for live!)

i get the Red LED on the x3aptr which is supposed to mean that the D0 is Correctly done doesnt it?

and when the chip is removed the M$ Dash works fine
