i have an ex 3ce installed turned my xbox on all was good flashed with x3 3294 all was good up and running tryed to flash other banks all is messed up now tryed to reflash origonal and it flashes but when i reboot it boots to the point of the title screen saying X ROX my BOX then freezes the hdd led stops cant fix problem dont know what to do

try holding white button on controller to boot into x3 config and make shore it setup to boot to your dash
you did not set password in x3 config did you
can you get into flashbios by backup bank (power eject at same time) or bank settings

i did set a password i reflashed and now x3 wont flash and now none of my hdds work even when chip is disabled it stops at the big green x on the logo screen and the hd led doesnt light im lost i lock the drive and nothing happens i switch drives and nothing im starting to think my box is evil any suggestion or possibilities would help im even concidering a new box

this password thing has been done to death on this site do a search on password you will find a number of fixs
but try flashing with x3 [FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]1892_BETA Bios and remove password in x3 options if you know it then reflash with x3 3294 bios and don,t use the password option in x3 config it has a bug in it

did you try x2 bios
is the hard drive brand new no dash or setup to install dash
but as you can,t boot into x3config its a password problem

That's not helpful at all - as DJ has recently asked, did you follow the instructions and flash a non x3 BIOS to your chip (as the boot disk will only fix the problem if you have done this).
after much trial and error i finally figured it out first i flashed bios to x31959 and i got a password screen id enter password and it would freeze so after a little trial and more errors i realised that if turned the xbox on with the power button it would freeze at rox my box but if i turned it on with the eject button id get the password screen wich would freeze when i entered the password so eventually i realised that my optical drive was flawed some how
the fix was to dissconnect the dvd drive wich by the way is a thompson and leave it out completly i power up with the power button and get the password screen enter password and presto it worked i dissabled password and reflashed with 3294 and all is good maybe this will be helpfull if this isnt a common problem for others but thanx DJBOOBY and MARTIN im sure ill need you again cause ill be messin up a 360 soon
