X3 question

If you have a 3.0.1 X3 chip on a 1.6 motherboard it doesn't work i assume, but what happens, what shows that it doesn't work. ???

The older stock of chips only have one flash bios, if this is tha case that the flashbios is incompatible with your mobo then you would only get a blank screen. But all you leds etc will be on.

Also, that's only on the 1.6b, not the 1.6.

since you know your X3 is 3.0.1 .. I guess you can see the "FlashBIOS Screen" ... what do you think isn't working ... ? and btw.
the 3.0.1 stnad for the FlashBios Version .. not for the X3 Hardware Rev.

Since you can see this Flashbios screen .. it looks like your X3 works ...
so far ...

It would be heldfull to know ... what your exact problem is ..
