X3 Revision Question

I have recently installed the final version X3 Bios Chip with the pcb rebuild on an Xbox ver. 1.6b. When I post the blue x lights up on front panel but no video. The disable bios feature via the power button works perfectly, so does the backup bios via power and eject buutons, but when bios is enabled no video. I was wondering where the findal release batches all same bios 3.03 revision or where some lover or higher revision numbers? I have a feeling this might be what my problem is. Any suggestions? :?:

What bios version do you have flashed? 1959 or 1959_plus16? If you flashed the former and not the latter this may be your problem. Use the backup bios to flash the 1959_plus. they should be be in the same folder when you unrar them.

Decided to pull out a new computer and do this.


AND IT WORKED.

This is a Wow 64 process running on 4 x 64 bit CPUs
portio64.sys Driver Installed
portio64.sys Driver Started, thanks Schtrom !
Found 6 I/O Ports.
Found 0 Com Ports.
Found 4 windows drives C: E: F: G:

Now I'm stuck at what to do next.
And yes, i have downloaded numerous tutorials that havent gotten me to far in the process.
