When will the X3 sodderless adapter be available?? and where can I get it, Im not a total noob, just dont have steady enough hand to solder my board, it my sons xbox, and I dont wanna mess it up and have to buy a new one, please help. email me if anyone has any info [email protected]

need BIG help!
i bought a second hand console recently and ended up with a liteon drive in it....
iv never flashed liteons before and was a little hesitant.
to cut a long story short i was gonna make a probe but got impatient and so got the soldering iron out...
the solder tip seems to be shot and i didnt know that and now the r709 component got burnt of the board....
what i need advice on it as follows:
1stly: i connected the drive to the 360 and the middle light is flashin (usually means no drive detected)
2ndly: i connected the drive to JFlasher and the drive is recognised!
iv been told the r709 compnent was for tray status hence y it may not be being picked up by the 360
but if the drive is recognised in JF surely the chip is accesible for gettin a good key dump (which i dont have so i reli need it to salvage this box)
so if anyone has any input/advice regardin things i could do....
my thinkin is this: the drive needs to be half in to read and at the min it wont eject i cud try bridgin the r709 with a screwdriver and tryin to eject then hit r707 with the probe and try reading....
if anyone has good technical knowlege that cud help in this matter then plz give me a hand cos im goin crazy here....this is my second box in 2 weeks

This happened to my board, it IS possible to get the key off, except I don't know how, I sent it in for a key dump to someone, and he was able to get it off

probably a decap or if the r709 component is only a bridge he may have just resoldered the points....i however am sh*t with a soldering iron lol and i dont know anyone local hu wud do that sh*t.....

can you upload a picture.. of the point you need to solder. i can show a work around maybe. it would still require soldering. just it may be easier.

im havin cam problems atm m8 otherwise i would have im gonna post alink below to a pic which i believe will work for me... just need u to confirm. (the pic im referring too is the one with the different colour lines drawn in from tx an rx to the via points)
my 707 pads are melted and the 709 resistor is gone so from the pic im think ill take a wire soldered to tx to the point below the 709 resistor (via pointt)
do u think with the pads gone from the 707 point that ill also need to take the wire from rx down to the point below the 707 also?

yes just bridge the connections. you dont really need the pads or the resistor. i would replace a 100ohm but thats just me. it will work just fine if you bridge the connections. just solder the points like this guy says in his picture

if those are the only 2 that are messed up. yeah just make the connection for those only then. its okay that the resistor came off. but you can replace it with a 100ohm if you want.
