hey ppl
i just installed a X3 chips in a friends xbox... its a v1.6b.
when I got it back together the blue light on the panel lights up, along with the green light around the eject button. The chips itself lights up blue.
nothing appears on the screen. after apprx 30sec the green light on the front turns a yellow/orange and then nothing after that. If I hold the power button and let go.. it boots normally into the MS dash. this is my 3rd chip I have installed, and the only problem ive had.
I pulled the # 6 pin out of the header. I did the LPC rebuild, which looks like its right. I did the alt 5v wire. and everything looks like its done.
just wont bootup to the flash thingy
can someone suggest why this aint working
this is the first v1.6 ive done.... the other sucsessful 2 ive done were V1.3 and 1.4
