Hey,
Got my Xbox v1.6b chiped and running with the X3, only took bout 1.30min from start to finish, but the guides, and help sections in the forums proved very useful. Thanks to the ppl who posted in respones to other problems as your tips help me out too.

My tips from my instalation are:
> Check and recheck your solder (took me like 5 attempts to get the lpc rebuild on right!)
>Put in a nice 120gig drive :D
>Dont forget to recconect controller port 3&4 before you completly put you xbox back together :( :p

Awesome to hear this!!! This should have been put in the Success Stories Thread though....It is a couple of pages into the forum now....

Red Dead Redemption ... Copy Right Protected ... Helps

well my friend ijust bought Red Dead Redemption and was trying not so long ago to make a back up in order to burn it ... hell it doesnt work because it says it's Copy Right Protected ... he says he has all the last updates and can't get the image ... WTH???????

he didnt burn since a long time and now I'm wondering if we missed something. Is there a way to burn RDR or not??

or ... R WE REALLY STUCK NOW ??????????????????????????????????????

hope you can help us guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should rip the same as any other discs it has been on the net for about a week.

You must not be using the appriopriate software, use Xbox Backup Creator or Schromt.

MrPetes1985 is right, its been on the net for about a week now, how else would I have it? :)
