Well I got my X3 yesterday and decided to install it today. I followed the 1.6 install guide word for word. Also used the rebuild kit. After about 30 min the job was complete. I put everthing back togather, hit the power switch and CHA CHING!!!! Perfect. I don't know why everyone makes this sooooooooo difficult. If you follow the guides and do some research before installing, you can't go wrong. Thanks for the guides Team Executer. You guys kick ass. I will recommend this product to everyone. :D :D :D :D :D

Hmm you've got me on that one, not sure. I would think any burner does both + and -, and that it would only depend whether you burnt onto + or - discs.

On the edge of your laptop's dvd drive near the eject button does it say DVD Multi Recorder? If so i am sure it supports all different formats of DVD and CD.

install imgburn then start a new disc, hit tools -> drive -> capabilities it will tell you every kind of disc your drive can burn and read.
