X3 switch wires

Hey all, im doing a mod, and i wont be using the X3 switch, however i do want a led that is blue with mod on, and red with mod off. I have a bi-colour led ready and waiting but i dont know which wire to run it off from. Is there one off x3 pwr/eject assembly, or... ?

why would you need to strip wires ??

would be nice if someone made a schematic of the external switch so modders could have a reference to look at if they ever wanted to make their own switch
