x3 switch

I have the switch but I dont get the led for the hd light. :rolleyes: Any help would be great.

I have the x3 switch plug and play. No solder it is a pin header install. Thanks for the reply. Also I just got it working what would I flash the rest of the banks with if anythig? Thanks for the help

I have it working. I thought when I bought the x3 switch all I had to do was plug it in. I have done the flash and it works I just wanted to know why I dont see any hd led lights.

since you didn't solder there will be no hd light.

Ok so what do I have to do?? I have no red or green led on the swith working. I thought if I bought the plug and play ALL WOULD BE FINE. i HAVE THE XAPTER3R THE X3 CHIP AND THE X3 SWITCH.

dude you're not listening. you have to SOLDER the hd and lan points(which you didn't since you went SOLDERLESS) to get those lights to work. check out the tutorial on the homepage if you want to know where these points are. you would have to take out the motherboard and SOLDER if you want the lights to work.

you need to get some solder and soldering iron. Open your console and take out the motherboard. Take your D0/LAN/HD cable (part # 8 of this image: http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/pinheader/v10v15/x3_fullkit.jpg) and you need to solder the red and green leads to the points shown on this image: http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/pinheader/v10v15/x3_bottom.jpg. Do not solder in the gray lead (D0 lead) since the Xapt3r is taking care of that. Just make sure to use electrical tape and tape the end of it to prevent any shorting.
