X3 v1.6 FlashBios Works, X3 Bios Does not

I have a v1.6 xbox with an X3 installed.

The FlashBios came up and I tried flashing with the "X3 3294 v16 plus"

Flashes fine, and shuts off.

When I reboot the blue light comes on and then the xbox shuts off.

If I hold down the power button the xbox will boot the MS Dash. If I hold the power and eject it boots back to the FlashBios. I can flash it again but get the same error. Boots and then shuts off. IT Does NOT Frag (on off on off flash green red). I power it on and then it turns itself off. Thats it.

Any ideas?

how did you flash it disk or http and what flash bios version did you use 3.01 or 3.03

If its a 1.6 then you can boot to the back up bios, set the switches on the front to Bank 1234: on on off off off(Set to this when flashing first time with FlashBIOS)
Flash the bios, then boot again to the back up and either put another 1meg bios on bank 5678 using the same method, boot to back up set bank switches to:You have to flash with flash bios 3.03 for ver 1.6b

Boot from your back-up rom, set the switch to "on on on off off" (512k bank) and try to flash with an X2 bios (preferably X2_5035_v16plus.bin). If this bios works, check and resolder pins 13 & 14 coz these pins are used by X3 bios.
