x3 v1.6 MS Dash Fine - No X3 Bios or Backup Bios

Ive tried this so many times and resoldered so many times.

I have both LEDs on the chip lit up, the switch panel on the outside is red, and i can boot to the MS dash by holding down the power button and it works...but no other bios(eg X3 or Backup) will work.

Have tried setting the the switches to (on on off off off) or (off on off off off) and tried to boot to the backup but still not workin....

Tested voltages on all PIN connectors and the only weird ones i see are pin 5 which is ettin like 0.2 v and pin 11 which is getting only 3v and 3.3

what could my problem be?

i noticed my LAD0 cable lifted the RP74 solder point and i taped it down using electrical tape....so am not 100% sure that this connection is workin...

what are my options and what do i need to do sort them?

What happens when you use the eject button to start it up ? How about a REALLY fast tap of the power button ? Sometimes they are sensitive and only the fastest press will enable the mod chip.

if i give it a fast tap it FRAGS ... if it press/tap the eject button, it FRAGS if i hold in the power button(1/2 secs) boots MS Dash...press both buttons it FRAGS...through each of those tests, the light on the switch is always red....

tried plugging everything in(HDD, DVD) and the results are exactly the same....just get a flashing HDD light on the switch cos its plugged in...
