x3 v1.6b Biosflashing, blank screen

I have read and looked for similar problems and have tried using their remedies but none seemed to work for me.

I am installing the X3ce on a 1.6b xbox...I get the green/blue/blue lights on the chip on and I get the enabled (blue) light on the external display.

My problem is the flashbios...I tried using banks 1234 and 5678 but neither worked... on one I would get a "no device" on screen and the other I would get a blank screen like it was trying to give me flashbios but it couldn't.

I really need the procedure on what to do from here. If I need to get another flashbios or something, how do I use it? Thanks. Bland-O

Even though this doesn't help, did you say GREEN on the chip?
That means flash protect is on... you want it off RED for flashing.

If the chip is installed correctly, it should boot up on bank 5678. switches off on off off (flash protect off)
Then you should flash X3CL to bank 1234. on on off off.
If it was trying to give you flashbios, try the original video cables? Not sure there..

from what I know this could be one of two things:

firstly this happens to me: i now use a high definition lead to connect to my television. With this connected I cannot get a pictures from flashbios but if i connect the lead that microsoft supplied me with the console I can see flashbios.

or secondly and I may be wrong so dont quote me on it - if you have a 1.6b you need to have flashbios 3.0.3 - sounds to me like you have got version 3.0.1 on your chip.

If you make a bios disc and read the tutorials from flashbios you should be able to flash a bios without looking anyway just figure out what you need to press on your controller:
