X3 Werid eject/power problem (Resolute problem)

Hi folks. :wink:

Installed an x3 using the pinheader method in XBOX 1.4.
It seemed to be ok because the correct screen loaded and from there I flashed the chip.i'm flashing in X3_1959
Everything is oki But...if i press the eject button the xbox powers off Or if I press some seconds on the boutton power or eject in the starting up I arrive directly on the menu flash .Quand j remove the adapter reset / eject of the card mother I have no more the problem of the eject but me cannot have any more the menu flash By resting for a long time and the one as the other one I can not deactivate it except when I go into the configuration of the bios and ask to restart it without X3

Sounds like there's some solder bridges on the back of the power/eject adapter. If there are, break the bridges and it should be working.

Thank you very much of your answer I found the problem made there was a smudge of tin on the contact of connection I have had to remove double face and remove the excess of tin and that works normally On the other hand my sample group works more since I made this modification nevertheless I isolated well again the support eject / reset I the bios can more selected he puts itself directly there 2mb bank 1 - 8 even if I move them and the led of control works more either

Liteon 74850 to replace with bq

Hello All,
ok, i bought an xbox from this kid who was trying to do the MRA method and he fried his Liteon 74850 drive.( i told him dont do it) so now i have an xbox with no drive. i wanted to buy a benqdrive(its easy to flash) Iknow i need to get the key from the drive but i dont have the lt drive.I can ask the kid if he still has it but from what he did to it is WOW. is there another way to get a bq drive into a lt xbox

try to get the key off the lite-on, if you can't, the only way to get the key is the JTAG hack

if you can't JTAG it (dash of 8xxx or above), that xbox won't play games ever again

thanks for the info, im going to try to get the drive and post som pics maybe the drive isnt totaly a waste. i just dont trust my self or have the knowlage to fix it. hopfuly the drive is still good and someone can help
