x3 will not boot up flash bios when modchip is on the blue light is on and everything. its just a blank screen. but when the modchip is turned off it works fine. ive got a 1.6. any ideas?

i just tried that and it worked. flashed with x3 3294 and now when i turn on my xbox it resets 2 times then flashes red/green. ive tried to go to the backup but nothing comes up. what do i do now?

You have a xbox version 1.6b. Your backup bios won't work, and you just flashed the wrong bios over your only working bank (unless you changed the switches before flashing? if not..Doh!)
Take the chip out and flash it in another xbox (not a 1.6b) by booting to backup. Make sure you use the v16plus version of the bios file, you need it!

yea i just flashed over my bios flasher!!!! WHAT DO I DO? Is there a way to get the bios flasher back up without another xbox? or not?

If the ConfigLive boots, then you can easily populate the spare banks with FlashBIOS.
Just slap the FlashBIOS to a directory on your xbox, then go into X3CL>Bios Tools.
UnseenSpider, try booting up Bank1 (on on off off), only when you press on, keep tapping the eject button quickly. This has worked on a few boxes to cross my path.

that's as expected, 1.6b's don't work with the backup because it has version 3.0.1 on it. Ureteral's suggestion was a long shot and i guess only works in some cases. Do like i said and get it flashed in another xbox, or if you have another working x3, boot that and hotswap.

Hey bud I agree with you to some extent, but there's only the 1 version that can't use 3.0.1 and thats the 1.6b. there's also only 1 version that can't use 3.0.3 that's the 1.6PFIDR34 said:2 things come to mind...
1.) Im sure Team Xecuter knows that they should start putting 3.0.3 on the backup bank so everyone can have a working backup....
2.) How do all these people flash the wrong version... take your time when try to flash, people!
Either way your gonna get somebody who needs the opposite one to what theyve got.
