X3 wire install, 1.0 box, frag!

Hey,
I have a 1.0 xbox that had an x2.3 pro that worked flawlessly
I recently tried installing an x3 via wire install.
I also have the xapter but I can't get those blasted metal fillings out
so I had to do the wire install. It keeps fragging and the chip doesn't seem to get power at all.
and I don't inderstand what the black thing on the left with the wire colors on it is

the black thing on the left would be the connector on the x3 itself that has been imposed on this picture for easy reference

Ok, imagine a line is running vertically through the middle of that diagram.

OK....Ok.

That line is a mirror between the X3 and the LPC.
