X3 wont turn off

I installed a X3 chip and the thing wont turn off. The switch goes red turns off for a split second and turns back on with the chip enabled. what solder point would cause this. My buddy's does the same thing. Thanks

Try dis-connecting the power/eject daughter board.

hello all i have been repaired xbox;s for a while now and have recently got into flashing aswell.

now some people are contacting me asking if i can do a jtag hack on the 360 ive done some reading on it but was hoping mabe some more seasoned modders come shed some light on what excatly you can do with a jtag xbox 360?

any and all info would be great thanks.

the big one:
backup games to external hard drive and play them with no dvd in the
drive.
load homebrew apps.

so you can just plug a sata hard drive into were the dvd sata should go?

Interesting... but doubtful...

Usually people format a USB Hard Drive to FAT32 using the HP Format Tool

Then just go back and forth from a PC to the front of the Xbox.
Or, FTP into the Xbox with XexMenu and FileZilla

pretty sure all SATA drives work, I can say that a 500GB
2.5" Western Digital hdd works just fine through HDD port
on a JTAG'ed console.
