X3 + Xbox Live = _____?

Will X3 work with Xbox Live? If so what do I need to do?

The answer is NO.

If you go on Xbox Live with any mod chip you will be instantly and permanently BANNED from Live by Microsoft.

Not to be rude, but in this case John is right. Make sure you know what you're doing at least a little or you're asking for trouble. Getting banned is a good example.

I would agree with everything that has been said but installing an X3 doesn't necessarily mean you can never go on live again. As long as you have an original, locked HDD and boot your box with the chip off (long press on the power button) you should still be able to use live.
However with the current Live banning that is going on there is no absolute guarantee as to not getting your box banned at the moment...

Is it still possible to Hot Swap Backup using wxripper ?

I want to make Backups of Xbox360 games I own. I do not want to open my Xbox360 again, so I want to know if I can use wxripper and the hotswap method to burn current games. Like the Wave 4, 5, 6 games, etc.

I found this tutorial ( http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/how-to-rip-and-burn-xbox-360-games-281348/ ) and would like to make sure it will still work properly.

Also since this is the way I want to use if possible to backup my games, are there any current tutorials to help me besides the link I posted?

Nobody has replied on this post and it has been at least a week so I wanted to try again without making a new post.

I know I can hotswap rip Wave 1 and Wave 2 games but I am unsure how to check if it still works properly for ripping Wave 4, Wave 5, etc games. And will this rip the ssv2 needed for iXtreme 1.6LT.

Is it still safe to Hotswap backup the newest games for stealth checks, etc?

I use the hotswap wxripper method for making backups too. I run the ISOs through Abgx and so far up to wave 4 has been verified and padded/stealthed correctly. Wave 5 and 6 still have no ISO available on the Abgx site, so I can't verify those waves. Although my box is banned, I suspect that's from the firmware and not the games. So I'm gonna say up to wave 4 is safe, 'til you get all green verfies on Abgx for 5 and 6.

Just get an extra xbox360 drive and flash it with the 0800 firmware and use XBC v2.9, its fastest easiest way to rip and burn not to mention theyre already patched and ready to go.
