Hi, I have installed a Xecuter 3 in a v.16b xbox. When I push the powerbutton The LED on the controlpanel is lightening blue. So everything should have worked, though, it is not :/ ,I only see a black screen. When I hold the powerbutton in, to boot w/o the x3, the xb is booting fine. Both picture and sound starts to play.
I have tried both 1mb banks, the 2mb bank and the backup bank, it shows a black screen on all. I am using the orginal stock cables, conn. to my tv.
I used the Xecuter Xapt3r 1.6 Solderless Adapter, all 5 led's on it is lightening.
A friend of mine, told me that it could be because the x3 got an old version of flashbios that does not support v1.6b. True?
Is there any other way to make this chip work except flashing it on a older xbox? since I at the moment don't have any acsess to other xbox's.
