Hi i have a question i have readout the orriginal firmware of my LiteOn DG-16D4S 0225 just with only an ck3 pro how is that possible ?

because i hear everyone saying you need the usb pro ?

it is possible but not only with a ck3 pro. you should read the jf guide or some of the guides on here which will tell you whats required.

You need a ck3 pro or ck3i , a x360usb (On board Sata compatibility is hard to get) either the Sputnik probe or the Sputnikswitch, both will require cutting trace and soldering.

Please read up on the forums it will help you alot.

sputnik switch or sputnik probe is needed if you have a mxic board in your 0225 drive.

kamikaze hack or a tx unlocked pcb if you have a winbond board in your 0225 drive.

ck3i/ck3 pro or a ck3 lite to power your drive.

a usbpro is needed with most slim drives.coz slims are very fussy with sata.

i was only able to extract the key of the 0225 flashing is a another part for that one i needed the x360 usb pro

the following thing i did

hooked up everything like the ck3 pro should be (with usb and stuf)

pulled the tray fully open.

when message comes to turn it off and on, Ill close the tray till half and turned the power off and on again.

no need to have tray open.or anything like that

all you need to do is hook up your drive

load jungleflasher.go to the dvdkey 32 tab,hit the slimkey tab,

click no on the first pop up,

then click yes on the second pop up,

then power cycle your drive.

then save your dummy file:rolleyes2:
