Hello. I'm new in x360, but next week i think i buy x360. So I think i need to buy with Samsung dvd room. But i still thinking maybe Hitachi will be better? What u think? So, what making date must be wrote on the back of X360 that samsung drive must be MS25. I still don't get about flashing. I read text book, but don't get some info. So that info:
*I need to download firmwavre from microsoft? Official firmware??? Or i get with new games or dvd-room patch?
*How can I backup my firmware that when i flash i can restore everything. You know when i'm flashing i mess my guarantia.
*If my Samsung will be MS28 is that hard to add chipset or what?

from what i can read in your post i do not reccomend you try it your self also try speaking in sentences as your post is hard to understand you can also easyly flash ms25 and ms28s have you read the tuts or even read about these forums becuase you could learn alot

@cp2007...It's funny that you're telling him about speaking in sentences when you didn't capitalize one word or use one punctuation in your entire post. ;) lol

@Audris...If you have read Textbook's tutorial and you're still this far off then you should really consider paying someone else to do it for you. (PM Textbook on this site). If you insist on doing it yourself I'd advise you carefully read Textbook's tutorial again since everything you're asking is already answered in there.

I didn't read all the book. But the biggest question is about MS28 and Benq/Philips/LiteOn rooms. Can I flash or my friend flash that rooms in home? Does them need some other stuff? Or only SATA? IIn my PC I have SATA1. Thanks :)

So don't get about MS28...Can I flash MS28 at my home like MS25?. I have SATA1 on my PC. And... If I have Toshiba it's simple to flash like samsung? Thanks for answers, really ;)

it becuause you are kind of asking stupid questions you need a via chip set on your mobo or a pci card some other chip sets can be used for ms25s a think but a via is recommend read textbooks guide
