... is it still required? I just recently got a JTAG xbox, and stumbled upon instructions for making games work with X360GameHack v5.2. Now I must say I have a few games that don't work and seem to need 'other than default' settings in X360GameHack, which is quite confusing. E.g. BF: Bad Company 2, and also NFS: Hot Pursuit doesn't seem to work right. Still finding out what's wrong with that one.
Is it actually still required to patch games to make them work? Or maybe any fail-safe settings other than the default ones? I'm running all the latest JTAG gimmicks (FSD 2.0, Dash Launch 2.07, XeXMenu 1.1).
