No matter what you do, stupid questions will always be posted..

Having a log about the work being done will not keep people from asking: "Will the fw be out anytime soon?", because - as progress will be shown, more and more people will probably start going: "Well, since you can read the firmware now, it will be out tomorrow?".. And this will happen in every log-entry made.. Look at the posts already, they state my view pretty good.. If people dont understand the work going on in the background, they wont understand a log and will keep asking questions.. Everything will (in their eyes) become "It's ready soon i think.. Better ask about it!!!" or "More bugs found? zOMG! Better ask if it's going to be delayed?" OR "WTF.. What does %¤!¤# mean? Some kind of grapefruit? Better ask about it!!"

More info = More Questions.

Just my 2 cents..

But this is heading off-topic..
