I just received my x360 usb pro v.5 (as labled on the board) and have connected it to the pc using the mini usb to usb cable and i am powering the drives with an xbox 360 console and i've tried two different consoles. One with a benq drive and another with a hitatchi and jungleflasher shows the x360usb pro is connected but the drives never show up. I've read the J/F tut but don't see what i am missing. Can someone be kind enough to give me a heads up as to what i am doing wrong. I'm on windows 7 if that makes much of a difference and thank you all in advance..

The drives work fine, i've been playing games on them for a while. And i think i have the latest drivers, in the device manager it says that the x360 is working correctly and i updated the firmware on it also. I've tried about 5 different jungleflashers and get no drive detected in any of them. Thanks for the reply, i need all the help i can get..lol.

I've run as admin and even put the cpu in test mode and disabled the driver signing by pressing f8 at bootup just to see and i'm getting nothing. It couldn't possibly be a bad x360 usb pro could it? It lights up and i get green red and blue leds at different times so i figure the x360 is good and it may just be my computer. I'm going to see if i can use my buddy's cpu later and see what results i get. Thank you all for the help and if you have more ideas please keep em coming as i'm willing to try anything at this point..

Yeah thats what got me to buy the x360 in the first place. I hooked up every drive i had to the cpu by sata and it wouldn't detect anything either so i was told that the x360 would take care of the problems i was having. I'll keep at it, thanks again..

In case that this is an error with old drivers or software on the x360 itself can someone post a link to the latest drivers and update tool for the V1? I believe i have the correct ones but i could be wrong. As always, thanks in advance..

ok so i do have the latest drivers and firmware on the x360 pro and i'm getting no drive detected on my pc and on a borrowed laptop that i installed everything on. I'm beginning to lean toward a defective x360usb pro as i've swapped every cable and drive that can be swapped. It just seems that it wouldn't flash lights on and off it it was broken but i'm out of ideas and really need a drink so i'm taking a break for a while..lol..

Ok so one last question before i give up on this thing. According to this thread...http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62598, it shows generic usb hub, usb mass storage device and SPIF301 USB2SATA Bridge USB device as installed and the x360USB PIO drivers as not installed. When i connect the X360usb Pro to the pc it doesn't install any drivers and i don't have the SPIF301 file anywhere on my computer. Could this be why i can't get this to work? Or do i not need those drivers installed? Any help is greatly appreciated as i am totally lost at this point. Thank you all...

You need to install X360USB Pro drivers so that JungleFlasher can see it.

You can find drivers for the device in the "Downloads" section at the top of the page.

You need to update the "X360USB PIO" device using the correct drivers - this guide should help you.

i can see the x360usb pro in j/f its listed at ver. 0.20 i believe, it just won't show the drive. And the link you provided is the same one i linked to earlier, thats where i got the drivers and update tool. In that link it shows that the first time you plug in the x360 that it tries to install 4 different drivers and they all install except the x360 PIO. I don't get that screen is why i'm asking about this. I'm going to try a couple more computers with this and then i think i'll give it up for a while. Thanks for your suggestions..

I deleted the LibUSB0.dll file and have tried several SATA cables that i know are good. I'm stumped..is there a way to reset the X360usb pro so that its like it just came out of the box so i can start over from step 1 or am i pretty much stuck like it is?

Go to device manager Find X360usbpro and delete it then start over don't forget there is one driver file you manually load.
If you had this working before go to X360usbpro in device manager and roll back driver
