x360usb Pro Firmware installation issues

Hey guys.

Just got my x360usb through the post, thought I'd finally get one and move away from the sata card.

Now I've hooked it up and installed the drivers fine.

Now I'm trying to install the firmware and running in to a few errors, here's the steps I am taking.

1) Connect the device with the swith OFF.
2) Turn switch ON and press the RESET button
3) Open Firmware Tool v0.12
4) Load firmware
5) Press update
6) Wait for erase
7) When the green update bar starts moving up move switch to OFF.

^ as soon as I do that last step the program locks up on me and then freezes.

I then get the following:

Read Failed
Verified Failed...
Resetting Device...
XECUTER X360USB HID bootloader removed.

Can anyone help or tell me when I'm doing wrong?

Are you waiting until the green bar moves and reaches to the end when updating the firmware?

I've tried waiting once but it'll get 3/4 and the program will freeze. I'll see what if I get it working on my laptop.

Think I've solved this.
What I did it try and write to the device, it locked up so I moved the switch back to ON and the device gave me this:

Verified Failed...
Resetting Device...
Loading: C:\Users\Michael\Desktop\X360USB_PRO_0.18.1.hex

Then I basically loaded the fw up again, press update, waited for it to get all the way up and it did in seconds, then switched it back over to OFF and I got this:

Done!

Resetting Device...
XECUTER X360USB HID bootloader removed.

^ guessing thats me done?

Yep, now place the switch in the off position and press the reset button again. Last test, run Jungleflasher and connect the X360USB Pro and see what firmware version it shows to you in the log.

Yeah got it all working fine, plugged my drive in and it recognised it.

Already had v1.9 on the drive but i erased it and put it on again just to check everything was working.

Took about 20 seconds tops! Awesome product!
