might be being really stupid... but, i got my x360usb pro v1 today and i cannot get the sata cable into it:S there seems to be a piece of place blastic at the bottom of the sata port stopping it going in:S?

its hard to see but at the bottom of the port there is a black piece of plastic which looks to be apart of the case which stops the sata cable provided from being inserted?

Looks like the port is out of alignment to the case but is hard to see.

If it definitely will not fit i would go back to the supplier and get a replacement should not be an issue

I vote dremel the case once u take it apart save yourself the time to RMA a product with the vendor

I vote with contacting the seller, this way you know you'll get a working one with no issues. If you try to modify anything on your own they won't take it back even if it was messed up to begin with because you would have tampered with it. Plus you don't know if any other damage is there as a result of it arriving the way that it did.

Best go with contacting the supplier indeed, unless you're really handy with a hobby knife or are really in a hurry to get your drive flashed

I took the case off, i could see it was just apiece of plastic which had not been snapped off the case during production, took the case off, cut the piece of plastic, everything worked fine and got my slim flashed!
