X3_3294 file corrupt

Has anyone else gotten this message that the file is corrupt when trying to unpack the bios file? I even tried repairing and redownload with no joy. Also tried using an updated winace as opposed to winrar.

Where did you get the file? Xbins is the only totally reliable source.

that is where I got it from strangley enough. Do you know of anything I could be doing wrong while downloading and transfering from xbins to my folder?

I just went to xbins, downloaded it and extracted it no problem.

I'd better start from scratch then and try again. What unpacking app do you use?

Works fine... I just tried using winrar.

Can you do it with the trial version of winrar or do you have to purchase it?

you can use the trial version - it works for 30 days or so.

It works forever there is just a nag screen after 30 days.

To all concerned: alas after using a different FTP client called FTP commander it worked first time with no problem. Thanks all. The thing I was using before was FlashFXP

Flashfxp is probably the best ftp program.
