Ok i ordered the whole deal,the x3ce control panel,the aftermarket clear case,the chip and i put it all together. Everything went perfect but now i need to get the bios because when i try and download mirc it says that there is always an error and i cant get it. If some one could send the bios to me through aim i would be very happy. Please and thank you.

Another method would be to download AID 3.10 (Auto-Installer Deluxe) it's a bootable disc for the Xbox which contains many dashboards, apps, and emus. Additionally, it comes with an archive of all the latest BIOS images including the X3 3294 and X3 3294 v16plus.

I created the .ISO file using the directions from the PDF manual in the AID 3.10 directory. Do i need to tell the Xbox to boot off the CD and how do I do that? Please help. I have the Xecutor 3 CE chip with the latest hacked bios Xbox ver.1.0.

Even if you have download AID, you'll need to extract the BIOSes from it.

Your best option tho is to download it from the usual places.

What error message do you get with mIRC?

Hi guys can u help me,as new to all this i have installed the x3ce chip to my v16 xbox and a friend gave me a bios on disc 3294 but it reads it but then say's(no bios update found : halting) many thanks....

If you're friend confirmed that the disc will work then check your Flashprotect settings remember red = flash protect disabled (Some X3s are labeled incorrectly).

He did not say if the disc works but it reads it then the update bios comes up. i have tried cdrw,dvd-r and dvd they all do the same thing . the flash setting are set on on off off and the fith is off. is the 3294 bios the right 1 i need? The dummy file i have tried 300mb and 600mb but still no go . Any help please ....

Check the flashprotect switch on the X3 itself, make sure the light is red regardless of the label (some are labeled in reverse).

A dummy file of 100MB is sufficent and the best media for this is CD-RW (don't forget to burn at a low speed).

As for the BIOS version:

3294 for 1.0-1.5
3294v16plus for 1.6\1.6b

Hey B-Dog all sorted and thanks 4 all ur help. It was discs not reading and setting . ur a star buddy 4 putting me on the right track. But question 4 u . running XBMC dash with evoxdash.cfg & evoxdash.log& evoxdash.ebe but still get boot menu up wen starting ie: have to cursor down to dashboard can i delete files to boot to dash. Sorry 4 being a pain but really new 2 this many apologies

Yeah, and if you ever have to access the X3 Config Menu in the future just hold the white button during bootup.
