somewhere
I have installed the X3CE with the 1.6 Xapter, I get all the lights on the Xapter and all the lights on the X3CE.

When I boot I get a black screen, nothing else. If I boot with Xecuter disabled it goes to the Regular Xbox dash fine.

How can I get the FlashBios screen to come up so I can flash a bios?

I have heard that 1.6B needs 3.03 but how the heck do I get it on there if I can't even connect to it?

Check your switch settings.
FlashBIOS 3.0.3 is on OFF ON OFF OFF OFF... If you have a 1.6B it should boot to that fine.
Change the switches to ON ON OFF OFF OFF once you boot up and flash the X3 3294 v16plus.bin file to that bank.

Poida, What if I cannot get "FlashBIOS 3.0.3" to come up at all regardless of the switch setting? Is there another work around? I've play around the switch and got it to come up couple of time and now all lost due to incomplete flashing (Flash about 1/3 then freeze). Please help.

if you have not yet flash the chip with a bios then its on switch setting OFF ON OFF OFF OFF if you are not getting it and have not flash bios to the chip recheck your install
if you have flashed over with bios
you will have to do a hotswap or send chip to get reflashed with flashbios

Thanks BJBOOBY! Look like I will have to do the hotswap. How difficult is it to do hotswap? What's all involved? Will you please give me some guidance? I will borrow another XBox from a friend to use his modchip (same version 1.6b).
Many thanks, TB

Sorry for posting again. I just want to let you know that I have read the "Flash A Dead Mod-Chip (Hot Swap) (v0.1)" but still confuse about couple thing and I hope some one can address it for me.
1)After swapped out the modchip, what wire need to be reconnected back to the new modchip?
2)"Ensure that you’re Evolution X or Bios flasher disc is inserted". How can I obtain this "Evolution X or Bios flasher disc?

Your help is Greatly appreciated!
