Hi all pros out there,

I got my X3CE with solderless adapter installed on my Xbox 1.6b (or is it 'c'?) over this weekend.
I am trying to flash the BIOS but strange things occur.
If I set switch to banks 1-4 (on on off off off) and boot - the external switch glows blue, but there is nothing on screen.
If I set switch to banks 5-8 (off on off off off) and boot - the external switch glows blue and screen shows "FlashBIOS 3.03" with a menu below. I have nothing fancy connected to the console but original controller. However, I cannot navigate through menu.
When I press both power and eject together, the external switch glows red/blue but nothing is on screen.

Please help.

Original controller only thing connected to the ports? No matter which one you pick?
You could also try the remote control if you got that as well.

Note: Make sure you read up about 1.6B's... There's only 1 bank with FlashBIOS 3.0.3.
The rest are FlashBIOS 3.0.1 which works on every other version except 1.6B.
Main thing to note is flash to banks 1-4 by changing the switches once you boot to FlashBIOS 3.0.3.
Then flash with X3_3294_v16plus.bin file
and once X3 bios is up and running, update your backup bios with FlashBIOS 3.0.3

Thank you for response.
I tried original controller connected to port 1 and then 3. Same results - I cannot navigate menu. EDIT: I had tried my other wireless Logitech controller - but it did not worked either. I had only one controller plugged at a time and had my console off when replugging.
I had learned about 1.6b and FlashBIOS versions - that would explain why I don't see anything from banks 1-4 or from backup bios.
I have CD burned and ready to install X3_3294_v16plus.bin but I can't navigate menu! I will try ports 2 and 4 although I doubt it would help.
