X3CE not enbaleing

I have just finished installing the chip and all components. I have a question because my switch light is red and does not turn Blue. All of the lights on the chip are working. Why doesn't my chip enable. Please help.

I have the solderless Xadapter3 and everything is installed correctly. When i tap the power button the external switch board turns red and the tv screen just goes to the the MS Xbox opening screen. What did i do wrong?

Is the D0 wire in the right spot? I dunno if that has a light on the Xapt3r for that, but that's the usual symptom for it not turning on. Also, make sure you installed the power/eject switch pcb properly. Not installing it at all will make it always on, but I'm sure theres a way that you can install it wrong and have it never turn on haha.

pressing the power button very quickly should boot enabled if not try pressing both power and eject at startup and that should boot the backup bios.

The back up bios doesn't even boot up. I think i have the D0 in the right place. Also when i push the power button quick the chip is still disabled. i have no idea what the problem could be. Could there be any type of problem?

Well, really the only thing I can think of that could be wrong on an Xapt3r install is the D0 point. What version Xbox do you have?

Hey onajet02 i am having the same problems as your xbox, except my is a version 1.6. my boot up 3 times cycling green and red than flashes green and red. the 2 lights on the chip itself is lit up and my switch on the chip is turn to the left. xbox boot up fine in normal mode.

I too can use some help. btw i am using the regular switch panel, it lights up ok and stays red. bank switch is on farthest away from the bank's number.

I really can't understand much of what you said since obviously English is not your primary language... but here are a few things...

First of all, the problem in this post is with an Xapt3r. Xapt3r's don't work on 1.6 Xboxes so you aren't using one of those are you? If so there is your problem right there.

Now, both blue lights on the chip are lit? When you startup with the mod off it works fine, but when you startup with it on it FRAGs? That's normally a soldering issue. Recheck your solders if that's your situation.

Now, I can't really tell, but are you saying all of your switch settings are to the left? You want your switch to be set to "on-on-off-off" when you are using the X3 bios. That's what you should have flashed it with.

sorry if i can not speak english, but i already try the "on-on-off-off" settings. it still don't work. btw i am not using the xapter3r. just the 1.6 lpc rebuild kit.
so on the front panel switch, bank 1 should go up to the "on" position and same for bank 2. 3 and 4 is "off" (meaning switched down) and bank 5 is "on" (up towards the word flash protect) right. correct me if i am wong. i don't really know what is wong help o.k.

I have Xbox version 1.1. When I quickly press the power button the chip is disabled and the Ms Xbox screen pops up. But when I press the power button for a long period of time, longer than usually, my xbox cycles three times. The first time the eject light is green. Second time it FRAGs and the third time it FRAGs then turns off. While all of this is happening the outter switch is red (disabled). Also when I try to run the backup BIOs same cycle. I also already checked the Xadpt3r twice and the contact is fine. Could it be a faulty chip?

Question: Am I suppose to flash the chip first or does the chip already come with a standard BIO already on the chip? Could that be the reason why my chip is not enabling?

i don't know about your situation, but i think my is manufacturer defect and i am planning on calling this one back in for an exchange. does anyone know if that is possible yet.
i think u might be right about flashing the bios first, but i don't know how to do that.
