Alrighty, I have just installed x3ce with xapt3r on v1.1 xbox. all LEDs on so install is good. Have a problem with the flashed bios. I used bank one and flashBIOS to network flash x3 bios over. however now when i try to start using bank 1 bios i get no load screen and it frags. backup and bank 2 flashbios boot fine, but i dont want to flash these over yet incase the same thing happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

okay so boot flashbios from bank 2 and then just reflash to banks 1234. what bios did you flash? did you use the correct version of the bios? for example 3294_old.bin?

I reflashed by running back up bios and reflashing into banks 1234. used x3 bios 3294. I have figured through various testings that something is not right. i am leaning toward hard drive incompatability with v1.1. Because when i put stock HDD back in i can boot to X3CL. However if i put in a HD and format for Xbox use then i cant boot up. i still get changed flubber scenario, ie purple and stuff, but no 'xecuter rox my box' and then says HDD error, usually 6 or 7. Just wondering how i am supposed to get a new 200g HDD formatted and ready to use if it frags on other drives. BTW like i said v1.1 with stock seagate 10g. I have tried with stock(from other xbox) western digital 10g and 200g WD already teeming with stuff.
dont quite get this as last install on v1.6 was straight forward.
PS all light are fine, useing solderless, D0 a bit strange. i can put the wire in nearly any hole close and still get red led lit. cant find pic for v1.1 to see exactly what hole in go into.
Cheers

error 6 is can't unlock hard drive - has the hard drive been locked in another machine?

error 7 is hard disk timeout - could possibly mean the disk is bad!
