I goto download some new skins for X3 Config Live and my Xbox locks up. Seems to lockup after the skin is done downloadind (leds stop flickering) Any suggestions?

well mine freezes when i choose a skin to download.. the xbox light keeps flickering (i have it set on cycle)
and when i reoot and reselect that skin.... it jams again...

ok just remove the broken skin, here's what you do. get a copy of the 1959 x3 bios and flash it to your second 1mb bank, (or the 1mb bank your latest bios isnt on). flash through the backup flashbios and then bootup 1959. ftp to your console and remove the broken skins. reboot your xbox with the latest bios and boom your on your way

.k.. how do i flash those things ? (sorry, im a n00b) i flashed the box without touching any of those x3 switches.. and isnt it best to have the latest bios ?? i have 3029 i think

I have the same problem. I downloaded the Blue hyperbole skin and it locked up my XBOX in X3 mode, like it has done to others. I understand how to fix it, but have searched in vain for build 1959 X3 bios. Any ideas where I can get an X3 Bios that does not have any skin options where I can go into E:\Skins and delete the bad skin? Would and X2 Bios Work? I'm real close to finsih modding my X3, and would like to fix this problem, then learn how to load Evolution X or a better dashboard. Thanks to Executer Team for making a great chip, and I love the X3CP! Can anyone help me PLEASE?

X2 bios would work yes, or you can get the X3 1959 from Xbins. It's in the main Xectuter 3 bios folder under a subfolder called old or something like that.
Funny, but this skin has been blasted before for being sh*tty. Allxboxskins should have removed it by now, but then again, their sh*t only works part of the time anyway.
