X3CP infra red any clues?

just got my hands on the lurverly x3 control panel yesterday fitted it, just wondering if the ir mod by xecuter had been done and had been fitted as standard behind the switch on the CP. Cause pointing my dvd remote at it didn't seem to work. Anyone have any clues?

yeah it would be great if you could use the dvd remote without having to plug in the seperate dongle.

there is no IR in the control panel you have to put your own in
There are aftermarket IR that will fit
No doubt that Xecuter will bring one out for it

cool, was just hoping that xecuter had snuck one in without us knowing lol. hopefully that circuit board on the left of the panel will be easy to pop off so i can fit the ir mod in behind it

There are three small screws holding the board in place. Once these have been removed the board comes out easily. The XIR's receiver can then be slipped under before refitting the screws.

you can play dvd's without a dongle or remote anyway. but that would be pretty cool though.
