X3CP IR & DVD Dongle....

I know that Team Xecuter is working on their own IR mod that would work with the X3CP.

Just wondering if it would be possible to make it somehow able to also incorporate the XB DVD dongle inside or in addition to some way so that the DVD dongle doesn't take up a controller slot or if it has to, not cover up the LCD screen???

IMHO, the DVD dongle clutters the look of the front of the XB and would also clutter the clean style of the X3CP. Moving it inside or somehow making it invisible would be cool....

check the tutorials on xbox-scene and theres some on there about how to setup a 12v relay so that whenever you push a button on the remote it cuts of controler 4 but then when you stop using it it gives power and such back to 4 for your controller so yes it must take up a usb port. You could also take it apart and just do that relay and just keep the smal pcb inside but cut a whole in the case somewhere in the front so the signal can get to the dongle on the inside. Also i dont think teamx is integrating an ir mod on the x3cp but its still possible to do it on our own.

Yeah, I could do all that, but by planting the seed now, knowing that Team Xecuter is going to be working on an IR solution as they've stated so in previous posts, we might be able to reap something wicked cool down the road. They do read and listen to ideas, hence the 2 USB ports on the soon to be available X3CP.

I agree... I'm waiting to purchase any new buttons/panels/whatever from TeamX until the IR add-on is ready to sell. I do not want to buy an M$ dongle just to use IR. I think it is pathetic that the XBOX cannot be fully controlled with the remote they sell. No on/off, give me a break!

So, TeamX... PLEASE build an all inclusive IR add-on. Please!

retrieve dvd key

hey people i have a 360 here with 8995 kernel, is there anyway to retrieve the dvd key? i was thinking jtaging it just to get the key but from what i have been reading it is not possible with that kernel. lay it on me am i S.O.L? thanks for any help much appreciated
