X3LCD Problems

I have just received my X3 LCD today in the mail. I currently have a perfectly working X3 with the latest BIOS on it. I have searched the forums but have not seen anyone with this problem that i am having. When i plug in the LCD and enable it in the BIOS, the LCD lights up but i have no text. When i slide the contrast dial on the modchip, i can see the contrast changing on the second and fourth line (no text just the whole line turns "white" when sliding the contrast all the way up). I have tried seeing if it works in the bios (no text) Avalaunch (no text) and XBMC (no text) i have enabled xecuter LCD support in all of them. Please be gentle on me this is my first post :oops:

Do a search for "LCD" and you'll find other threads discussing this. It seems like quite a few people are having the same issue...myself being one of them. I just sent mine back to System Mods for replacement. Hopefully a new screen will fix the issue and that it's not the X3 chip. Kind of odd how there's been absolutely no response from anyone at Xecuter. I wonder if there's just a bad batch out there.
