X3LCD Remove/configurable "Executer 3" header

I would like the "Exectuer 3" header that is shown at startup with the greeting message to either go away or be made configurable. It's fine as a default header, but for those of us that do not want to show hardware commercials while booting it should be made configurable. I also like the suggestions for a scrolling feature posted before that way making the greeting text longer if wanted.

I never said it wasn't controlled by the BIOS. I see the X3 chip and BIOS as one product. Without the new X3 bios what is the point of buying the X3. I only see one reason. The backup bank for flash bios. The 2MB bank space is not really needed.

So, I would like a updated feature in the X3 BIOS to make this configurable. Maybe that wasn't clear. And maybe I'm in the wrong post category. But then again, if there are existing tools to change this then there is no need for this upgrade. What tool do you use to change the X3 bios to remove the greeting/commercial header "Executer 3"? It would help if you could be a bit more specific.

Nothing. Instead just show the greeting message that I have set and allowing me to fill all rows with it. Right now since I'm running XBMC as dash. If X3 bios had been configurable for all rows (I think it's three or four rows, might be wrong here), I could have set it to:
Welcome to
XBOX
Media Center
Or maybe if you could choose intervals so that text can be displayed for a specific nr of seconds out of the ~5 second startup.
Welcome (1st and 2nd second)
to (third second)
XBOX Media Center (4th and 5th second)

Some nice scrolling feature added to this and I can not ask for more:)

This really shouldn't be to hard and take to many hours to add to the next bios release, I think.

Have you already changed the X3CL settings and what appears there?

If so and you still get it, then I suppose there should be a way to remove anything static from the display.

Have a look at the X3LCD install guide:

Here they have changed the greeting from the URL of team xecuter to "BABES". It then appears on the third row. But the header "Executer 3" is still there. I understand that team xecuter put it there as an default option just as they put their website as the default greeting. But why oh why isn't it configurable so that you can take it away. If you look at the current BIOS configuration (X3 Config Live) there is no setting to change or remove it. Also the default greeting is limited in nr of characters so that it can only be placed on one row and fit the LCD screen.

Hope you understand my point and I really don't think there are any tools to change this with. The BIOS has to be changed!
