X53 f/w and live

I was wondering about this f/w(x53) and if it was safe for me to go on live... I have read about the whole stealthed thing and I made my backups on xbc which confirmed that they were stealthed. I have been on live but just havent played any games yet so far... so i was wondering if it would be safe or not...
Then also, if I do need to upgrade the f/w would I have to make new backups or are my old ones fine since they were stealthed? And do I need to comvert back to my orig and then up or would I be fine just straight upgrade?

i would go to the new ixtreme firmware if you are going to play on live.
if your backup are stealth then no you would not need to make t5hem again.
if you have a v25 or v28 drive then know you can flash over it.if you have a hit drive yes you will wont to go orig the reflash the new firmware.
