if i have the xapt3er does it make the D0 solderless? and also what is the D0 what does it do?

(I did use the search for each of my questions and it came up "cannot Find")

There's a little wire that will go into the d0. The d0 allows you to disable (bypass) the modchip, incase you want to do something like play Xbox Live

Actually, it's the other way around. Forcing the D0 down makes the XBOX boot from the LPC BUS (ie: modchip) without the D0 hooked up correctly you'll never get the X3 to 'boot'

ok to answer your question the xatp3r makes the whole x3 soldierless the d0 like said before when ground it boots from the modchip(inthelpc) the springwire from the xatp3r goes into the d0 point just follow the tut and you will be fine

Yes - with the Xapt3r, the D0 is solderless. To install on the D0 point, you simply have to 'push' the wire into the hole. Some people may argue that you should solder it, but that would defeat the purpose of a solderless adapter (in my opinion anyways).

i guess just follow the xapter tut if u need that much help its pretty much explainatory if u look at that one. http://www.teamxecuter.com/xapter/ this is basically a tut i dont think anyone can help you if u need help installing after this

You still have to solder the HDD and LAN wires if you want those features on the switch to work.
