I just bought an X3 with an Xapt3r. Unfortunatley, I thought that the Xapt3r was made for a 1.6 Xbox considering that there's already a solderless solution for previous version boxes and also chipdealer allowed me to select 1.6 with Xapt3r. So now the big question is, does anyone know when the Xapt3r 1.6 will be out?

They said it would be out for christmas, but i think due to being really busy they have slipped into the newyear.
Its christmas so let them have time off to recharge, then reap the rewards come the newyear.

i dunno bout b4 christmas, they only said that they were soon 2 release picture of the Xapt3r 1.6 Prototype soon, but no dates really set, what I can see is 1 that looks the same, maybe a Diff color 2 seperate, but under that big Blob is lil pogo Pins that make Contact 2 all the needed LPC rebuild Points, but if they go that way I hope the use 2 screws some how 2 hold it in place, havn't been in an xbox inna few weeks now 2 remember if there is any near by ground screws usable for such a thing

Hi guys I flashed to LT Plus and now Lite-on 7xx Spins fast as hell and no games will boot. Also updated dash. Any clues what this could be? Thanks

Does it say play game on the dashboard? Or just play DVD?

Re: Need assistance

Its says open tray. But the Lite-on 7xx bit the dust this morning. Is it possible that I can get another 7xx on ebay, erase it, and just flash it with my dummy.bin? If so, do I have to transfer serial #'s and all of that ticky tack? Thanks for your help.

Re: Need assistance

As long as you have your dummy bin, you're good to go. Just put the dummy in as the source fw, and then the LT + file as the target. Spoof them then erase and flash... Really easy process

Re: Need assistance

Haha no problem, that's why I'm on here... And nope, no need to dump anything from te new drive... All you need to do is put your firmware on that drive because that is what associates the drive with your board.
