Xapt3r and X3 3.3V

Hi All

I have a V1.2 Xbox installed with Xapt3rand X3, it had been working ok for a couple of months but then I decided to replace the front panel with ther X3CP.

Got it all installed and powered the xbox and got no excuter screen.

Opened Xbox, this is what I saw.

Xaptr3 with no chip, got 3 blue leds and 1 red on for D0.

With X3 installed, only get 5V blue led not 3.3V, no front panel leds.

I measured the voltages on the Xaptr3, pins 15 & 9, they both show 3.3V. Next I measured the volatges with X3 installed on LPC points, again got 3.3V. Finally tried measuring at point where it says 3.3V on X3, i get no 3.3V.

I think I have fried the chip when I was installing the front panel, it may have got shorted somehow.

Also I know the Xapt3r voltages are correct as I get the 3 blue LEDS that indicate good 3.3V & 5V connections and also because I have measured the voltages with a meter.

Can someone please confirm? or offer any suggestions ???

yes back out of the change...remove the control panel switches from the X3 chip and restart.. maybe a problem here ...

Sorry I forgot to say, I have tried the X3 on its own, nothing attached just the X3 and Xapt3r. Still only get one Blue LED 5V on X3. Xbox still boots without X3 attached.

Sorry can someone also confirm that a correctly functioning Xapt3r, should have 3 blue LEDs for 5V & 3.3V and one Red for good DO ?
