Mmmk, I have a 1.4 xbox, decided to upgrade my X-Chip to a Xecuter 3...just because.
Took out my X-Chip, plugged in the Xecuter just like it said in the tutorial. Loaded it up....fragged. Checked to make sure all the lights were lit up, and that the D0 wire was in the right hole, pushed down and secure...fragged. Looked at the forums for some help, constant threads pointing to the Xapter tutorial, tried that...fragged.
Noticed the external light was blue, good sign....fragged. Tried it one more time with my fingers crossed and HALLELUJUAH I got the Flashbios screen. Switched the external switches to On On Off Off Off, flashed the 1959 bios (not the 1959_16) it shut down, I turned it back on...and it fragged. I loaded up the backup bios, switched it to Off Off On, and tried flashing Evo_M8, it shut itself down, I powered it back on...frag.
Now I cant get back to the flashbios/backup bios screen because it just frags right away. So I tried it in a friends xbox, and its the same crap all over again. So since I'm a pretty big n00blar I don't know if this is an install problem, or a Bios problem.
What I do know is, I've refitted the xapt3r in my damn motherboard so many times (just to make sure it was sitting right) that the top part of the bottom screw broke off, so I need a pair of plyers to unscrew the damn thing.
