No - they're for Xboxes with clear LPC holes. They provide a better connection to the LPC points and pogos.RoaZtedPuppy said:the little cylinders are for those with LPCs that have solder in them
The Xapt3r was custom made to fit. It should not interfere with anything else on the board.ramathiam said:Thanks. I didn't know what they were for so I already removed the solder from the holes. Now what am I supposed to do with the rivets? Hope I didn't hurt anything.
Another question, I'm trying to get my Xapt3r installed and it looks like the chip at the upper right of the lpc is in the way and there's no notch out of the adapter to clear the chip so it keeps the xapt3r from sitting down.
Is this common and ok to grind a notch to clear this chip?
Thanks yet again.
