xapt3r lights?

ok i just fixed my chip with a programmer and i have the same problem where i cant boot my xbox with the modchip off (the xbox FRAGs) . I have noticed a few details that i think might concern my problem.... i have a xbox v1.6 with the 5035 1.6 working correcly (except with the modchip off). what i have noticed is that on the xapt3r 1.6 soderless adapter that i have only shows FOUR lights instead of five. I am not sure if that has a association with my problem. any help will be appreciated thank you!

when the xbox frags with the chip off which error number do you get at one of the top corners of your screen?
the xapt3r will not affect your box booting up with the chip disabled

i get no error at all with and without the hard drive and dvd drive connected just a black screen. the xbox just turns on and of 2x and the third it just frags.
