yes im putting the screw in hole first but its not tight at all i didnt have to screw it in, i just dropped it in. and from by looking at the pics from the release, i can notice a definate size difference in the screws. but than again why is that black thing in the way? i have a 1.1 xbox and is that supposed to happen?

What black thing?

You mean the chip on the Xbox? That's the TSOP!

Can you take a picture of the screw - if you have a macro-zoom function on your camera, use it for close-up shots..

And you're putting the long portion of the screw into the hole? If so and it's still loose, then it sounds like the hole is stripped.

yes, long side down. and how could the hole be stripped? i havent touched the xbox (this is my first mod) and all the holes are the same size and fit the same way: LOOSE!

Compare the Xapt3r screw with the screw that was already there. Do they look the same thickness?

FUnni64,

Martin asked for a side by side shot of the original screw and the Xapt3r screw.

yup - I sure did :)

Nice quality pics though - just post one of good quality with them side by side. I'm just looking at the possibility of a different thread needed on the Xapt3r screw.
